Daily Crafting Writ Guide

Daily Crafting Writs are daily quests you can do on all of you characters. There is one quest per crafting bench and they are a great way to make gold and materials for beginners and veterans alike.


Why Do Crafting Writs?

GOLD, GOLD, GOLD!

Daily Crafting Writs are the easiest and most consistent way for players to get gold and crafting materials. They will net you 4.5k gold, crafting materials, surveys, and Master Writs. So if you if you did your writs every day on all 9 of your free Character Slots you would get 40k gold per day or 1.2 million gold per month! and loads of crafting materials, including those needed to gold out your gear!

Prerequisite - Certification Quests

Before you can do your daily writs, you will need to do the writ certification quests. These become available once you toon is Level 6. Speak to these NPC's to complete their corresponding crafting certification. You can do this in any city or town, with the exception of Jewelry Crafting can only be done in the city of Alinor, in Summerset

Millenith - Clothing, Blacksmithing & Woodworking

  • Clothing

    • Light and Medium Armor

  • Blacksmithing

    • Heavy Armor and Mele Weapons

  • Woodworking

    • Shields, Staves & Bows

Danel Telleno - Provisioning, Enchanting & Alchemy

  • Provisioning

    • Drinks and Meals (Food Buffs)

  • Enchanting

    • Glyphs for enchanting Gear, Jewelry & Weapons

  • Alchemy

    • Potions & Poisons

Felarian - Jewelry

  • Jewelry

    • Necklaces & Rings

    • ESO+ or Summerset Chapter is required for Jewelry Crafting

Once you have completed all of these Certification, you are ready to do your daily writs. Writs Reset at 1am est.

Crafting Writ Process

Once you have completed your writ certifications, you can now do daily crafting writs. For this guide I have chosen to do them in Alinor, they main city in Summerset. You can do you writs in the city of your choosing.

Writs are a 3-Step Process.

Step 1: Accept the Daily Crafting writ Quests from the Writ Board.

Step 2: Craft the Requested Items (every bench has it own item list).

Step 3: Turn in the Quests.

Rewards

  • Gold

    • 4,500 Gold

  • Materials

    • Random crafting materials, sometimes rare and valuable gold materials

  • Surveys

    • Surveys will take you to a location where you fill find 5 or so nodes, each containing around 20 of the corresponding items

  • Master Writs

    • Valuable writs that yield better rewards and Writ Vouchers which can be spen on items like crafting benches and Storage Coffers for you home. (YES MORE STORAGE!)

Must-Have Addons

If you install the following Addons and reload your UI and the addon will not craft the items for you most likely you are missing some of the crafting materials. The addons will let you know in chat which materials you are short on. You can find missing items quickly by heading to a guild trader and buying them in bulk. After playing for a wile you will no longer need to buy these, as deconstructing gear and collecting nodes will provide all of the materials you will ever need.

Addon: "Lazy Writ Crafter"

This is a PC only Add on. If you are on PC stop what you are doing and install Lazy Writ Crafter. This addon will make it so that all you have to do is accept the quest and then walk up to a bench and interact with it. The addon will take control from there and craft all of the corresponding items for that bench. Walk up to the next bench, watch it craft and son on until all of your writs are done. Once you've crafted all of the items go turn them in.

Addon: "Daily Alchemy"

This addon will handle the crafting for your Alchemy Writs.

Addon: "Daily Provisioning"

This addon will handle the crafting of your Provisioning Writs.

Addon: "Writ Worthy"

This addon will tell you how much it will cost to make a master writ and weather you have learned the required Recipes, Blueprints, Passives, etc. to complete it. DO NOT START MASTER WRITS YOU CANNOT COMPLETE. Save them for later or sell them. You can only have one of each type of master writ active at a time.
